Loud cheers from the students echoed the hall of the campus gymnasium as they welcomed the faculty members of Philippine Normal University North Luzon (PNUNL) during the celebration of World Teachers’ Day on October 7, 2025.

The said celebration was to honor the sacrifices and passion of each teacher from the campus and to acknowledge the roles they play in building young minds and the country as a whole.

“This is to inspire everyone to continue appreciating our vocation as a strong foundation to imparting good will in leadership,” Dr. Agnes S. Reyes, Executive Director and Provost emphasized during her speech pointing out that teachers can also teach good governance. “Cheating in classrooms is also a form of corruption,” she added.

Meantime, students showed their gratitude by preparing performances including dance routines, bench cheer, stage play, and the most heart-warming, the gift giving to show appreciation to the faculty members of the campus.

“This is my 2nd teachers’ day celebration here in PNUNL, and it will always be a new emprise. Thank you to my advisees and students,” Professor Rocky James G. Sarasua, English Faculty member mentioned when asked about his experience in this year’s celebration.

After the general program at the gymnasium, the faculty members headed to the InnoHub building to continue the fest, marking a day of rest and recreation.

The festivities concluded in group games, singing, and dancing activities.
