PANANGSARABO 2022 welcomed freshmen as Philippine Normal University North Luzon finally opened its door to host the in-person way of welcoming the freshmen with the theme ‘’PNU sa Bagong Kadawyan: mga Hamon at Oportunidad (Ikatlong Sagwan),” today.

 

Present at the welcoming event were the faculty and staffs, the PNUNL department and interest-based clubs, the international chapter, The Torch North Luzonian, and Student Government.

Accompanied by live music of the PEMS band, blended with the embellished pathways with energy-evoking banderitas, the parade of the freshmen was made to stand out with their respective yells and taglines, namely, from NL 1 ‘Serpente Alyansa Uno’; NL 2 – ‘Lightning Jaguars Dos’; NL 3 – ‘Ibon ng Apoy Distrito Tres’’; NL 4 – ‘Tribo Kwatro’; NL 5 – ‘Penta Agila’; and NL 6 – ‘Hiyas ng Hilaga’.

 

Along the way to the university gymnasium, the different clubs showcased their talents through the various designs of their booths and catchy street names.

 

“The experience was partly energy-consuming but mostly remarkable. After spending numerous sleepless nights and laborious efforts, I can say that all of it was truly worth it,” said Princess Gabriel from II BECED.

 

“I feel really happy and excited until now I am overwhelmed. Kahit patapos na yung event, I can still feel the excitement,” stated Christene Jane Ramos, a freshman from NL 3.

The event carried on with orientation and was followed by the booth presentation and campus tour for the freshmen.
