Philippine Normal University North Luzon (PNUNL) commemorated Pagdiriwang ng Sulo 2025 in a solemn ceremony held at the university gymnasium, demonstrating the symbolic transfer of leadership, responsibility, and service from the graduating class to the undergraduates.

The annual tradition served as a meaningful rite of passage, honoring the universityโ€™s core values of truth, excellence, and service. Graduating student Kenneth Jay Iquin represented the senior class as he passed the symbolic torch to Jessie Santos Jr., who received it with a pledge to carry forward the institution’s ideals.

The torch lighting, central to the ceremony, symbolized not only the continuation of tradition but also the enduring commitment of future educators to lead with integrity and serve with purpose. In his acceptance, Santos echoed the aspirations of many aspiring PNU teachers, vowing to honor the path laid down by those who came before them.

As the graduating students prepare to step into the professional world, Pagdiriwang ng Sulo stands as a reminder of their responsibility to uplift communities and promote transformative education. More than a farewell, it is a reaffirmation of PNUโ€™s missionโ€”to nurture future-ready teachers and educational leaders.
