The Philippine Normal University North Luzon (PNUNL) successfully passed the Stage 1 Audit and has been recommended to proceed to Stage 2 Certification Audit, representing a major step toward certification for the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System.

The audit was conducted in partnership with Worldwide Quality Assurance Philippines, Inc. (WQA), where auditors reviewed the university’s documented policies, procedures, and institutional processes to assess its readiness for certification.

Campus units and process owners actively participated in the audit through document presentations, process validation, and discussions demonstrating the university’s commitment to quality education and effective institutional management.

During the closing meeting, the auditors also presented the areas of concern to further strengthen the university’s systems as PNUNL prepares for the Stage 2 Certification Audit. This accomplishment reflects the collective dedication of the PNUNL community to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and excellence in teacher education.
