Philippine Normal University North Luzon takes pride in its student, Areta Mae Tinaza, IV-BEE, who has been selected to participate in the prestigious Taiwan Winter Camp as a Teaching Assistant. This program is part of the highly competitive Teaching Assistantship and Cultural Immersion Program, an opportunity granted only to a select group of students who have demonstrated exceptional academic and teaching potential.

The Taiwan Winter Camp, scheduled for February 1 to February 10, 2025, provides an enriching cultural and educational experience for students and educators. Under this program, selected students from PNU, including Areta Mae Tinaza will serve as Teaching Assistants for Taiwanese students learning English. This initiative not only enhances their teaching experience but also allows them to immerse themselves in a multicultural learning environment, an opportunity not afforded to all students.

Before heading to Taiwan, the selected students underwent a comprehensive training session on November 17 at PNU Manila. The full-day training, conducted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively assist in English language instruction.

As part of this prestigious program, students receive a scholarship grant of USD 100 and a Certificate of Recognition upon completing it. This opportunity underscores PNU North Luzonโ€™s commitment to producing globally competitive educators and fostering international collaboration in education.

Tinazaโ€™s participation in this exclusive Teaching Assistantship and Cultural Immersion Program highlights PNU North Luzonโ€™s excellence in nurturing future educators and providing them with valuable international exposure. Her journey serves as an inspiration to fellow students, proving that dedication and hard work can lead to remarkable opportunities beyond national borders.

PNU North Luzon continues to support and celebrate its studentsโ€™ achievements, ensuring that they receive the best opportunities to grow academically and professionally in the global education landscape.
