Philippine Normal University North Luzon successfully conducted a three-day training workshop titled “Empowering Administrative Staff: Capacity Building in Minute-Taking and Digital Productivity (MS Excel & Canva Editing)” on August 28–29 and September 5, 2025. Organized in two batches to ensure uninterrupted operations, the program focused on enhancing essential skills in effective minute-taking, MS Excel for data management, and Canva Editing for institutional communication and branding.

What set this training apart was its peer-led facilitation by PNUNL’s own administrative experts—Atty. Marlon Lemuel A. Almario, Mr. Patrik Joshua E. Balajadia, and Mr. Aldrin Joshua E. Mutoc—who combined pre-tests, interactive activities, and post-assessments to ensure practical application of the skills. The sessions highlighted the University’s confidence in harnessing internal expertise as a powerful means of capacity building.

Spearheaded by the Human Resource Management Unit, the initiative reflects PNUNL’s commitment to recognizing its administrative staff as strategic partners in institutional growth. By empowering its workforce with digital proficiency and organizational competence, the University continues to elevate its operations and service delivery in pursuit of academic and institutional excellence.
