At the recent 2024 UNIFAST Student-Grantees’ Summit, Mr. Jemuel C. Sagario, a UNIFAST alumnus from the Philippine Normal University – North Luzon (PNU-NL), captivated the audience with his inspiring story of hope and success.

A graduate of Batch 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with Specialization in Biology, Mr. Sagario is a shining example of how UNIFAST programs like the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) can transform lives.

He excelled academically, graduating Magna Cum Laude! Mr. Sagario’s dedication continued as he went on to pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LEPT) in March 2024, becoming a Licensed Professional Teacher.

Mr. Sagario’s story resonates perfectly with the theme of the Commission on Higher Education’s 30th Founding Anniversary and the theme of yesterday’s UNIFAST Student-Grantees’ Summit. It exemplifies the transformative power of higher education and how UNIFAST programs empower students like him to achieve their dreams.
