Tuguegarao City, Cagayan — PNU North Luzon participated in the second installment of the TECHGROW Ladderized Training on Intellectual Property (IP) Drafting and Technology Transfer, held from June 9–11, 2025, at the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao (USLT).

The training, spearheaded by DOST Region 02 in partnership with USLT, focused on advanced patent specification writing, claim drafting, invention disclosure, and the online filing process with IPOPHL. It also introduced key concepts in technology valuation, licensing, and IP management.

Representing PNUNL were Dr. Jane Cariaga (Head, Research and Publication Unit), Prof. Richter John Macaballug (Faculty), and Mr. Vijay Sicam (Research Staff), who joined fellow participants in hands-on workshops facilitated by national IP experts.

TECHGROW continues to champion innovation and commercialization among HEIs, aligning with DOST’s broader goal of empowering institutions to transform research into real-world impact.
