Philippine Normal University North Luzon (PNUNL) conducted the 2025 Planning Workshop and for implementation of the approved Extension Program on June 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM, held at the EDP Conference Hall.
The activity brought together Lead Extentionist from different units to align institutional directions, finalized timelines, and strengthened community-based initiatives. The event opened with preliminaries and a statement of purpose delivered by Prof. Virgilio F. Reyes, Jr., Head of the Extension, Alumni, Linkages, and Internationalization Unit (EALIU). Prof. Reyes emphasized the crucial role of extension programs in the universityโs mission of inclusive and sustainable development through education, partnerships, and research.
One of the key components of the workshop was the presentation and updating of the approved extension proposals for 2025. Each academic unit was guided in crafting its implementation timelines, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with national development priorities and community needs.
This activity supports the universityโs commitment to the Accelerated Sustainable Development Goals (ASDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by fostering innovation, collaboration, and responsiveness in its extension efforts.
