About the Conference
The 1st National HIRAYA–GEDI Conference 2025 brings together higher education institutions, researchers, the Department of Education, local government units, and civil society partners to advance critical dialogues and practices on Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (GEDI).
Anchored in the Filipino concept “Hiraya”—which means vision, imagination, and aspiration—the conference seeks to reimagine education, research, governance, and community engagement through a GEDI-responsive lens. It also aims to build sustainable pathways for inclusive and transformative futures in education and society.
