𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹! 𝗣𝗡𝗨 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟬𝟮- 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. The selection was an attestation of PNU North Luzon’s openness and commitment to being an active partner of the Philippine Normal University, the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) under the auspices of UNESCO, and the GCED Cooperation Centre Philippines (CC Philippines) in the promotion and facilitation of Global Citizenship Education programs in the region. Present at the signing and launching were Dr. Leticia N. Aquino, Executive Director and Provost, and Dr. Jandy S. Danzalan, Director of the Center for Indigenous Peoples Education. Dr. Danzalan will also serve as the GCC Regional Hub Focal Person. PNU North Luzon as GCED Regional Hub will be at the forefront of GCED advancement in the areas of research, teacher training, curriculum and instruction, and, linkages and partnerships within Region 02.Nineteen (19) institutions across the country were also accredited as GCC hubs in their respective regions. The said event is happening now until tomorrow at The Swiss-Belhotel Blulane, Manila.
