Koronadal City, South Cotabato โ€“ August 11โ€“13, 2026

The 19th Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) Week officially opened in Koronadal City with the theme โ€œTransforming Health Research; Connecting Cultures.โ€ The annual gathering brought together health leaders, advocates, and researchers from across the country to strengthen collaboration and foster innovation in the national health research system.

The Philippine Normal University North Luzon (PNUNL), recognized as the Indigenous Peoples Education Hub, actively participated as part of the Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC) delegation. PNUNLโ€™s representation was led by Dr. Jandy Danzalan, Director for Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, and Development, who also serves as Vice Chair of CVHRDCโ€™s Capacity Building Committee.

Dr. Danzalan joined the CVHRDC team headed by Executive Director Dr. Julius T. Capili. Their participation underscored CVHRDCโ€™s commitment to advancing inclusive health research that values cultural diversity and strengthens regional capacity.
