A Safe Space Nook for All through a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the creation of a palapa shed and pedestal marker. The initiative seeks to establish a welcoming, accessible, and non-discriminatory physical space that recognizes and responds to the diverse needs of the university community.

The ceremony was led by Executive Director and Provost Dr. Agnes S. Reyes and Director for Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, and Development Dr. Jandy S. Danzalan, together with GEDIU Head Dr. Raquel R. Geronimo, faculty members, and staff. The event was also witnessed by students and Dr. Praksis A. Miranda, former Director of the University Center for Gender and Development (UCGD). This milestone marked the beginning of the realization of a dedicated space for all members of the university community.
