The Philippine Normal University North Luzon through the Center for Indigenous Peoples Education has officially launched its various Extension Program in the Agta Community of Magamut, San Vicente, San Pablo, Isabela on April 20, 2022. 

Spearheaded by Dr. Jandy S. Danzalan, OIC- Office of the Director of Center for Indigenous Peoples Education, the university launched its nine (9) recently initiated programs that would contribute to attaining the various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) namely: 

1. Literacy Project (Reading and Writing) 

2. Numeracy Training for IPs (Mathematical Skills) 

3. Mothers Class (Gender-Civic Response)

4. Mentoring Early Childhood Teachers (Pedagogical Skills) 

5. Bata Bata Kuwentuhan kita (Stress Reliever & Humanities) 

6. Project H.E.R.B. (Environmental Care) 

7. Bukel ti Salun-at project (Livelihood and Nutrition) 

8. Bags of Joy (Feeding Program). 

The launching program was attended by Dr. Leticia N. Aquino, the Executive Director and provost, Dr. Madonna C. Gonzales, the Dean for Academics and IPEd, Dr. Agnes S. Reyes, the Director for Finance and Administration, and the Extension Coordinators of each unit. 

Moreover, Mr. Arnold Preza, CDO III, NCIP Ilagan CSC, Mr. Artemio Gonzales, Teacher-in-charge, and Mr. Eyok Cabaddu, IP Leader, also stated their commitment and support for the project. 

The activity ended with the provision of blankets and clothing to the Agta beneficiaries.
